For this media task involving sound, I used a clip from Marvel's Deadpool. This scene is a high action part of the movie. It contains violence and gore, which, is commonly seen throughout the film. Comedy is a vital element of Deadpool; this it is what makes the movie series so successful. Contrapuntal music is often seen throughout Deadpool as it adds to the comedic aspect (such as pop music during a fight scene). I tried to emulate this by using classical music during a gruesome scene. The parallel sound aspect of my edited video is seen at the beginning of the clip and comes from the original Deadpool scene. I also decreased the volume of the contrapuntal sound when Deadpool speaks so that my edit seems that it is apart of the original scene.

My feedback: I enjoyed creating this video as I was able to show some of my editing skills to the teacher and my classmates. In my opinion, I think the highlight of my task was the volume dip so highlight the dialogue of the character.
