This scene will be set in a classroom; it will involve two characters having a conversation across the table. Just before entering the classroom, you will see on character walking down the corridor and entering the classroom to greet another character that is already sitting within the classroom. 

Our two characters in this clip will be played by Hannah and myself. It will also be recorded by Tegan 

 

Script:

 

Opening:

*Savannah walking fast down the corridor, then reaches for door handle*

 

Classroom scene:

*DF21*

*Savannah walks into classroom and pulls a chair in the direction of Hannah and then proceeds to sit opposite Hannah*

 

SAVANNAH:

(slams hand on table and pulls down mask) 

 "Where is it?"

 

HANNAH: 

"Where is what?"

 

SAVANNAH: 

 "You know what I'm talking about"

 

 

HANNAH:

(shrugs shoulders)

  "I don't know what you're talking about"

 

SAVANNAH: 

(shakes head)

 

"Don't act stupid with me..."

 

HANNAH:

(shakes head fast and moves hand to aid explanation)

"Okay look, I forgot. I don't have it"

 

SAVANNAH: 

(raises tone and point at table) 

"I've given you three weeks to get it, three weeks!"

 

HANNAH:

(ashamed look appears on face)

 

 "And I've had a lot going on"

 

SAVANNAH

(taps on table)

"That's not an excuse, give it to me by the end of this week... or else"

  Music Video theory - Childish Gambino blog task Childish Gambino, the musical stage name of writer and performer Donald Glover, released an incredible critique of American culture and Donald Trump with  This Is America  in 2018. The music video is a satirical comment on American culture, racism and gun violence. Racking up 10m views in the first 24 hours, it now stands at over half a billion views and has been dubbed ‘genius’ and ‘a masterpiece’.  Childish Gambino's This is America music video meets the key conventions of a music video. The artist is seen lipsyncing to the song, along with this the artist and other individuals featured in the video are dancing to the rhythm of the song. In addition to this, a narrative is shown through the video with the supplementary use of props and movements. This video was used as an aim to perpetuate the real and deep issues that lie within America. Topics such as racism and gun violence are addressed in this music video....

  Postmodernism & Deutschland 83: blog task The distinction between culture and society is shown within the examples: Borat and Bruno X factor Andy Warhols Pop Art The rise of celebrities through reality TV Fredric Jameson's idea of historical deafness is the theory that as mediation increases, the culture loses the sense of historical context.
